Valentine's Day is widely regarded as the most romantic day of the year. A day where men and women show their love for one another by presenting gestures of said love. Flowers, chocolate candies, intimate apparel, or whatever, some gesture is needed, or it will not be forgotten.

I myself prefer to come up with a sexy mix of sensual music, a bottle of her favorite spirit, a babysitter...and it's on.

With that said, and rather awkwardly, I present my Cupid's Hunt 2012 contribution. A mix of classic sexy ballads that have all been sampled at one time or another. Some you'll know right away, while others may make you wonder, "Where the hell have I heard that beat before?"

Ghostface Killah is one of the greatest ‘storyteller’ rappers in the history of hip-hop. His brilliant yet sometimes cryptic narrative, can leave either little, or everything to the imagination. His bold and brash stories of hood life, or love life, has had us all saying to ourselves, what the Hell did he just say?!

One of the original founding members of the Hip-Hop group Wu-Tang Clan, Ghost has ventured out on his own to be regarded by many to be one of the top 50 MC’s of all time. With ten solo releases to his credit, and almost as many compilation and collabo’s, the Wallabe Champ continues to give true Hip-Hop heads that undeniable Wu flavor we’ve all come to love.

Ghostface is known to use soul samples in most of his songs, so this was one of my favorite sessions to put together. Having sampled hundreds of classic and underground soul tunes, I could make this a three part series. We’ll see if that happens, but for now I hope you enjoy this ‘sampling’, if you will, of the soulful stylings of Ghostface Killah, AKA, Pretty Tony, AKA, Tony Starks, AKA Ghostdini, AKA The Wallabe Champ.
